From Secondary 2 to Secondary 3, I advocated for various issues and events I am passionate about on the @sstactvocates instagram account, recording over 30 hours in the first year alone. I honed my communication and critical thinking skills through producing engaging Instagram posts and stories.
To counter the lack of engagement in cybersecurity in SST, together with my friends, I co-founded SSTCTF, a student-initated project in 2025. With over 60 participants from and beyond SST, this beginner-friendly CTF aimed to spark curiosity in secondary school students. As the designer of all the Reverse Engineering and other miscellaneous challenges, I gained new perspectives into cybersecurity and how systems are secured.
Being an Active Citizenship Education (ACE) leader has given me meaningful exposure to service learning and community engagement. Through student-led and school-organised events, I had the opportunity to volunteer regularly and work closely with a range of beneficiaries. These experiences taught me to listen with empathy, understand diverse perspectives, and develop a deeper appreciation for the challenges faced by different communities. It also strengthened my ability to lead with compassion, plan initiatives with impact, and foster a sense of shared responsibility among my peers.
